Bronzer, bronzer, bronzer!

Summer time is all about being bronze, and getting tan. Let's be real, not all of us have naturally bronze goddess like skin. I am going to be sharing with you my two favorite bronzers ever, which are... The incredible NYX Matte Bronzer in medium, and the classic cult favorite, NARS Laguna. Both of these bronzers are hands down a 10/10 in every way possible.

Starting off with the NYX Matte Bronzer in medium, this is a very warm toned, reddish bronze. If you too have a warm toned complexion, this is going to be your life saver. On my very freckled face, this bronzer works amazing, it blends in like a dream, and wears fantastically. If you are looking for an awesome drugstore bronzer, I totally recommend the NYX bronzers!

Next, is the very popular NARS Laguna Bronzer. Compared to the NYX Bronzer, this one has a more neutral to cool tone. It works on virtually every skin tone, if applied correctly, and gives a healthy bronze look to the skin. If you are looking to splurge on a more expensive bronzer, go for this one, it rocks.

What are some of your favorite bronzers? Have you tried these, how did you like them? I would love to know!

Chic from Ears to Tail

OPI Chic from Ears to Tail

This color is from the Minnie Mouse collection from 2013. I missed out on it then, but luckily I got the whole collection off of Amazon. Honestly, I think this color is ok, but it is not great. As you can see from the photo, it is not very opaque. I have 2 coats on and a clear coat in the picture, and it is not as pigmented as I would hope for. Personally, I do not want to have to apply 3 coats of a color for it to be opaque. If you do not mind applying 3 coats, go for it, but I think there are better light pinks out there On camera it is showing up as a lilac purple, but in person it looks like a true bubble-gum pink.

Skincare Routine

Hey everyone, hope you are all having a fantastic Monday!
You strive for perfect glowing skin, but what are you doing to get it? Your skincare routine will get you most of the way there, (along with eating healthy and staying hydrated).
The products I use on my skin have really help keep my skin clear, besides a few little break outs here and there. Staying consistent with your skincare will improve the way your skin looks overall.
On a daily basis I use the Clean and Clear Morning Burst facial scrub, I prefer to use a gentle scrub in the morning for exfoliating.
Next, I use toner, now technically this is not a toner, but I use it in place of a toner. Benzoyl peroxide gel is my best friend for all breakouts. The brand of benzoyl peroxide gel does not really matter, there are tons of them that are the exact same, I usually pick up the generic one from whatever store I am at. They are all 1oz. and contain %10 bezoyl peroxide, here is one from Clean and Clear. If you happen to try this product, it will take a few weeks for the medicine to kick in and really start working. When I started using it, my skin dried out a ton, but I still had oily skin.
Which brings me to my next product, moisturizer. When I was living in Colorado I used the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion. I loved this moisturizer, it was light weight and did not make my skin look greasy, I would recommend this to anyone who has dry skin, or lives in a very dry climate such as Colorado. Now that I live in Florida, I use the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer. I use a different moisturizer now because I felt like the Cetaphil one was too moisturizing, and I needed something that was more light weight. I love this moisturizer and it works very well, it is super light weight because it is a gel and not a cream or lotion.
At night, I wash my face with the Clean and Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser. This is just a basic cram cleanser, but I love the fact that it is minty, and gives my skin a slight tingle. If you do not like minty face washes, I would not recommend this one. After rinsing this off, I apply the benzoyl peroxide gel once again as a toner. I personally do not apply a moisturizer at night, unless I have been in the sun, in which case I use organic aloe-vera gel.
Now onto the once a week products!
On Monday mornings I like to use a scrub as a fresh start to my week. The one I prefer is the St. Ives Fresh Skin Scrub. This just makes my skin feel so smooth, and really gets all of the dead skin cells off.
After a long week, usually Friday nights, I use a face mask. This face mask is talked about by everyone and their mother, and its the Queen Helene Masque Mint Julep. I feel like all masks do the same thing, and it does not really matter which you use, but I just can't bring myself to try a different one.
The products that work for me, may not work for you, and vice-versa. Everyone has different skin types and needs, you just need to find the right products that work for you.
What are some of your favorite skincare products?? I would love to know, please tell me in the comments below!
